Description

The Box Compression Tester has a sturdy frame on which two pressure plates are mounted. The upper plate can be used fixed and parallel to the lower plate or it can be tilted using four fixing levers. The three sensors located under the bottom plate measure the force and the breaking of the box. The device is operated via the touch panel and the adjustable limit switches on the front.

PERFORMING THE TEST

The sample box is placed in the center of the bottom plate and by pressing the start button, the top plate is lowered onto the sample applying a load. The compressive force is captured by means of the three load cells located under the bottom plate. The system automatically recognizes sample breakage and the upper plate returns to its initial position.
