The working principle of the testissue pendulum is the energy dissipation measured as time of oscillation in seconds of the pendulum when it swings on a paper sample placed on a stainless steel surface.
Useful conclusions can be drawn about softness, creping, resilience (measuring its thickness after one or more cycles).
The tests can be performed both on the single veil and on the finished product (two or more veils).
The results of the tests are expressed in seconds or in number of complete oscillations.
